• Control wiring and power wiring must be run in

dedicated or separate earthed metal conduit, cable

trays, or trunking.

• Grounding requirements - The earth must be made

by solid metal to metal connections. The ground must

be good radio frequency earth. Ground wire should be

the same size as power wiring.

For maximum E.M.C. effectiveness, all humidity,

temperature and air flow controls should be wired

using multi-conductor shielded plenum-rated cable

with a drain wire for the shield. The drain wire should

be connected to the shield ground terminal with it's

length kept to less than 50 mm.

• When selecting a space to install the humidifier,

avoid areas close to sources of electromagnetic

emissions such as KVA transformers and variable

frequency drives.
